In response to requests from CUNA and others for more transparency, the CFPB opened its Consumer Advisory Board and Council meetings (e.g., Credit Union Advisory Council) to the public.

Interested parties may now attend these meetings in person or watch the “livestream” on the agency’s website.

The new open format kicked off at the June 18 meeting in Reno, Nev.

A schedule of upcoming meetings and information about the advisory groups is available at consumerfinance.gov/advisory-groups.
