A former Navy SEAL, a leadership coach, and one of the most watched TED speakers of all time will dish leadership advice at the 2014 America’s Credit Union Conference (ACUC).

Among the ideas from this year’s ACUC keynoters:

  • “Nothing just happens, you always have to strive.” —Marcus Luttrell, Navy SEAL and author of the book “Lone Survivor”—a memoir of his experience surviving a Taliban ambush in Afghanistan.

  • “The Extreme Leader is a generator, a powerful force for action, for progress, and an enthusiastic believer in people and in their capacity to do the awesome.” —Steve Farber, a leadership coach, consultant, and author.

  • “The courage of leadership is giving others the chance to succeed even though you bear the responsibility for getting things done.” —Simon Sinek, author of two books on high-impact leadership.
