Assess your Network SecurityIncreased networking has prompted GalaxyPlus to develop an innovative new solution to credit union security issues. The Troy, Mich.-based company’s Network Security Assessment allows credit unions to determine their risk of security compromise by internal and external threats. As credit unions continue to expand their networks to include members, partners, and suppliers, they increase their vulnerability to intruders. In turn, they risk losing revenue, proprietary data, partnerships, and member confidence. GalaxyPlus’ Network Security Assessment helps credit unions avoid security weaknesses and protect their digital assets. Employing automatic features, Network Security Assessment scans credit unions’ networks and identifies "holes" in the server software while examining vulnerability to attack. Scans are nonintrusive and nonexploitive, meaning no interruptions to business activity. The program receives daily updates of the most common hacking attack methods. It also provides protection by detecting the presence of foreign wireless devices and reporting suspiciously unrecognizable network activity. "Credit unions want to be more connected to their members and business partners," says Dick Eldred, vice president of sales. "Network Security Assessment lets them achieve that connectivity without exposing themselves to the security risks that are all too common in this day and age." |
